Nice that was quick transit! Can you PM me how much it was in total with customs/taxes etc. I suspect like most dacs it benefits from just being left on all the time.

Greyowl, specs are here:

Follow up on the Terminator....
Approximately 10 days of running-in for 24 hours non stop have significant improvement on the sound.
This DAC is so smooth and transparent that you totally forgot about the equipment and just enjoy the music.

Although it is a very well balanced DAC, certain things it does very very well.....like how the music decays...excellent mids and tuneful bass. I can listen for hours without feeling fatigue and with my heart beating fast how it improves on the very same track that I have listened for years.

I cannot express much but if you are in the market for a DAC of this price range or maybe 5 times the price, this should be on your list. If you are deciding on a dac and you have good CAM record, i welcome you to drop by and listen...that is if you live in or nearby Burnaby. PM me.

Hi Alvin,

Are you the distributor from Vinshine?

This may be a bit of sidetrack, but how does the entry level Denafrips compare to your Soekris R2R derived DAC? I imagine it might be a totally different sound but curious anyhow.

Thanks.

Hi sir,

Yes I'm Alvin @ VINSHINE AUDIO
It's a tough question. To describe them in brief, DENAFRIPS is towards warmish without being too warm; whereas VINSHINE R2R is towards clean and lean, but not too analytic though. DENAFRIPS tends to give you a 'fuller sound' presentation.

Rgds

What about Bruce Lee?

Bruce develops full analog from the digital in only one inch of brain.

There are more impressions on the Terminator in Audiocircle...under Denafrips Terminator.
How people who listened to it have given up their dCS, MSB, AMR, Metrum etc.

I just may have to take you up on that offer sometime. Are you still very much enjoying it? What other components are you using in your chain?
