Just installed Huron in my DSD.
Sounds very different from Torreys. Played for a few hours only, so not really sure as yet.
pls chime in what you feel.

Same feeling here.
Hopefully more users will take advantage.

on the fence, really liked Torrey's, going to give Huron some time on more different types of tunes until I decide, definitely equal to Torrey's, so no loss there, but better? It is different... loved it on a couple downloads, have to try it on some more discs.... so far, so good...

I have installed it and listened to Huron for about 3 days now. I do find it quite a bit better in terms of clarity, soundstage and clearer tighter bass for redbook and hi-res audio files. However, I find my DSD tracks to be edgy and with simbalence and less spatial. I like Torreys a lot better for DSD playback.

I installed it last Thursday night when it was first released. At first the highs were a bit shrill, but a reboot of the Directstream (as suggested on the PS Audio forum) fixed that issue. I think it is a definite improvement over Torrey's and won't be rolling back to Torrey's.

3 months have now passed since I am listening to Huron.
This thing is ruthlessly revealing and pointed out some several weaknesses in my system. So far I have only managed to address my subs.
I ended up adding a second PS Audio P10 feeding my 2 JL Audio F110 subs which tremendously improved the entire presentation.
I am hoping to add a third P10 for the other 3 amps in the near future especially for the pair doing the upper bass notes 100 to 200 hz.
I must insist please try the Huron, it is free and you can always return to your previous version.
