The stylus on my Dual 1019 recently broke and being a relative newb to vinyl I wanted to verify what the problem was so I posted a thread. OBI56 was the first to reply and confirm that it was indeed broken and also offered to mail me out a spare that he had. He was also kind enough to answer a bunch of newb questions for me and offer some insight on replacement cartridges. So 3 days later there is package in my mailbox with a stylus, I set it up on the table and it works beautifully!!! He won't even take any money for it, I keep asking him for a pp address to send some money but he wont. Thanks again.

It was sitting around annoying me and it needed a happy home which it seems to have found, so enjoy it.

OBI56.......even in French, I don't get it sorry. :?

Denys, I think it was OBI56 that you corrected for spelling your name "Dennis". I might be wrong on that one though. I too thought it was a 1. My eyes do have to be checked

I agree Obi is a nice guy and very informative and has a nice way of presenting information in a fair and balanced manner so as not to offend. Obi, I just want to say, I appreciate you man. :( Now there is a tear in my eye. I am going to have to go and do something manly 8)

Very classy!
Another lousy week at work forgotten with a thoughtful gesture.
Thank You.

Guys, you are blowing this WAY out of proportion. It was a lightly used stylus for a cartridge that I no longer have and I had no use for it anymore. The OP needed one, I had one, mailed it to him, it works, he is happy, end of story. It is something most people on here do all the time; share knowledge and help others out. I've gotten more free help and information on here than you can ever imagine, so anything that I can do to pay it forward is my pleasure.

Save the kudos for someone who actually does something out of the ordinary or above and beyond what is called for; not for something that most people should take for granted.

Now, who do I see about closing this thread?
