Although you and I have never really exchanged many words on CAM I read your posts thoroughly and agreed with most. I'm sure you have strong reasons for leaving and possibly you don't want to subject the CAM members to those reasons and I wish you well no matter what. But please take 5 and reconsider...it wouldn't be the same without you around here. Please don't leave us subject to the RGA's of the world...

I understand where your coming from David. I have found over my time here, that one does need a break from here from time to time.
I have had a few and some wish I would take another.

I have enjoyed getting to know you a bit through Cam and had hoped to get together sometime in the future, as we are not to far apart. But if you leave Cam for good, who will be forcing my hand to end up calling you. I had hoped not to subject your wife to my overpowering Presence. But if you insist on leaving Cam for good, I will have no choice.

Take a break and cruise the world wide web for a bit.

I'm sensing that a couple of the mods had a certain amount of influence in Stone's decision.
They have a tough job but sometimes let their personal beliefs get in their way!

That's why I mentioned earlier that perhaps a little time away might be good idea.
If I had to write as intellectually and humorously as he does, I'd have to take a break every second day!
Maybe we should let Kraut back for a little excitement in the interim!

Is it me or are the forums a little boring the past few days? Would it have anything to do with Stone's decision not to post anymore (and all that talk about screwing up the treads)?

I agree! No more shits and giggles. I think this is what CAM mods want........ Suppress the fun, the controversial, the intelligent ....etc. I'm not spending much of my forum time here anymore, other sites offer more analog/vinyl info which is my biggest interest anyway. CAM was just more entertaining in the past, good for a laugh and occasionally some excellent analog discussions but without guys like Stone, Lex and Finsky .....fewer reasons to tune in.

What are some of the better forums these days? Think it's also time for me to branch out a little more. Not sure I'm learning what I want on CAM these days. Cheers

Maybe we should all take a little time, get high,drink too much, rest a bit and come back in the new year ready to argue, fight,debate and be our lovable selves.
I hope Stone and some others do the same.
