You'll realize another level of improvement when you add a second 2235. 2X! LOL I'd be worried about the structural integrity of the house. First I'll master adding 1 then, if the hunger persists add another. -- 01 Mar 2016 16:45 -- I would strongly recommend getting a calibrated mic. Most HT room ...

Great drivers. Try sneaking them in at the -3db point of the LS80 (around 45hz) using a fourth order filter and work your way down from there. Experiment with the 2235s polarities too if you havent already done so because they follow a different convention. A 15-20hz high pass filter would also be ...

I'm now reading about the miniDSP, looks interesting and perhaps necessary to properly tune with.

Last year I recall reading about how adding a BASS can enhance 2 channel listening but until last weekend was a non believer. Now I cannot turn off my JBL 2235 encased in a solid/sealed 150 Lb down-fire cabinet. The extended range from 38Hz to now 20Hz (measured) affects amost every genre, sound fie...

This is a true loss :(

A few years back I purchased the JICO S.A.S for my Shure V15 III. It was astonishing how good it performed and for a fraction of the price for anything comparable.

I still receive their "Feng-Shui" news letters, probably not the correct term.

To an extent I agree with the OP; a feedback system allows us read/interpret comments and experiences dealing with CAM members. It empowers buying/selling with strangers near & far. The reason I initially choose CAM was for it's feedback system. No-fault or negative situations which are handled ...

I have the OPPO 103 and would not recommend using it for TIDAL hi-fi unless you're planning to also use an external DAC and Ethernet connection. IMO Their are much better choices for Tidal Hi-Fi streaming service. Blusound + DAC SONOS + DAC Aries Mini + DAC NAIM UnitiQute has a built in DAC and repr...

If you have a chance, listen to a Velodyn DIrect Drive digital. So much twack and thunder in a good looking cabinet. I found the DD delivered a better sound than JL Fathom line, maybe different in the E series.
