I've used the Diplexers for that purpose for years with no problems. From years as Cable/Broadcast tech, I would try to protect outside unit from rain, tighten all connections with wrench (not too tight, just slightly more than hand tight) & use Vulcanizing tape over connections if they are not...

As an update, did this and there was no signal loss on the satellite, and I'm getting crystal clear fm reception with my Yamaha T-S500 tuner. The whole operation took approx. 20 mins. to splice and connect the co ax outside and in the house.

Hi, you will have better results and it will cost you less to have a separe rg6 coax dedicated for your FM signal. You will mix 2 differents modulations on the same coax from a diplexer?? Your sat system may even have a DC feed to your NLB? Leave this to cable head end to mix signals ,unless you ha...

Haven't had any luck getting a strong signal with any indoor fm antennas, I'm about 18-20 miles from the stations I listen to. I want to mount an outdoor fm antenna next to a satellite dish and run both of them through a diplexer into the house and split it to the dish receiver and fm tuner. Are all...

You can thank illegal downloads or copies for the concert prices being so high. Touring is now artists main source of reliable revenue. BTW, I saw Buddy Rich at Disneyland, free with the price of admission!! That's hilarious! i saw him at seaworld in Florida, same deal. I was only 19 at the time an...

I have an Onkyo a/v receiver in the house hardwired to a pair of Kef Ventura 4 outdoor speakers, listening to fm radio, satellite tv radio and ipod. Used mostly at low to mid volume with neighbours on both sides and they sound great.

Just received this preamp and there is a hum at low volume in all modes in the right channel only. If I turn it up loud enough to drown out the hum it sounds great hooked to a nad 2100 amp. Had a Kenwood C-2 preamp prior to this without issue. Any ideas? I tried different connections, cables, settin...

I'm curious to know which input you connected it to.? and if the volume knob was right down on the amp? do you have a different set of speakers you can try? It may be the speakers that are damaged. Connected it to the tuner input on the amp, unfortunately the amp was powered on, when I plugged in t...

Bought a vintage nad tuner to be used in my garage system, hooked it up to the Yamaha to try it out, hooked everything up and powered on the tuner before turning on the yamaha and heard a loud pop. Disconnected the tuner and fired up the Yamaha and there is a definite hum in all modes and very low v...
