The Kontrapunkt C is the Fritz Geiger version of the A. Aluminum cantilever on both. I sold many Kon. A's back in the day when I used to be an Ortofon dealer. Excellent cartridges with fantastic separation and great tonal balance. The C should easily outperform the Glider. Buy with confidence from t...

They very nice in person(same ones I'm sure)..cabinets are reallllly nice, thing of beauty, sound very good on the music I brought to check them out, they were powered by SS, I think a nice SET would do them proper justice. And yes..you really have to want them. Wait until Jerr gets his pics posted...

Friend of mine bought them. I know at least two other people apart from him using Beta's. Both here on CAM. One using 10's and the other using 8's.
Thanks for the heads up.

Just FYI, that test article is from 7 years ago, so the Coral Beta 10 would be over 35 years old and the AN10 Super would be at least 7. Prices have only gone up since then.

Fully aware on all points

curious how this thread pans out, betas are pretty rare speakers and I really wonder how they compare with the latest and supposedly greatest :P Heres what I found on the 10B's. Just wondering how many out there are using Coral Beta's (8's or 10"s) and in what configuration/boxes. I'm using Beta 10B's in Compact Back Loading Jensen Folded Horn cabinets designed in 1952 with excellent results. Bass is supplemented with Philips 12" in sealed cabinets and high freque...

The possibility of negative feedback is, as I mentioned above, an essential element of trust in an online deal. Limiting feedback in any way threatens to remove that trust. If you limit feedback, I think the only reasonable thing to limit is positives. There might be an annual maximum. There should...

It seems to me that large numbers of multiple feedback from the same person would consist of sales of software such as LP's and Cd's so why not restrict feedback in those specific "categories" to one positive and one negative. Let's face it a person could sell hundreds of records or cd's b...

looks great andy. this is a very good reference. thanks for your efforts in developing it. how would the Jan Allaerts MC2 formula 1 with a mass of 10gms and compliance of 8 work on the Schroeder dps? Bad match. Considering your Colibri works well on that Schroeder we have to assume that the Schroed...

I have 2 cartridges in rotation. A Benz Micro Ruby 3 FG. and a Denon DL103R. Whenever I am listening to one I miss the other. Thats how good the Denon is ... it can actually compete with the Uber Ruby and does some things better. In my opinion everything else under $1000 is a waste of money.
