Marketplace did an expose a few years back. They misaligned the optical sensor then called in the specialists for a diagnostic. 9 times out of 10 they we're told they needed a whole new system lol. Saw that one. Pretty sure it was the same episode where they removed a plumbing gasket from a backyar...

Why did you lose the Canada Post / UPS option? Sipping cost reduction from Amazon. I'm not sure how it became a reality but Intelcom is the Uber of delivery service. Underpaid guys working with their own cars. The problem I have is that I live in a building with too much traffic for a secure delive...

Just one more reason to not buy from Amazon. Support your local shops. I agree but sometimes find it easier said than done. I like using amazon to look at user reviews before buying something I'm not familiar with. When you see their price at a 30-40% discount or greater sometimes compared to what ...

Why did you lose the Canada Post / UPS option?

Any guesses as to how long before the first delivery guy dog bite lawsuit or allegation of delivery guy stealing from customer's home?

Just take the frames off. With the amount that dealerships spend on marketing, there is no way I'm going to be their mobile advertisement without compensation. On the flip side - if plate frames are worthy of a fine, then towing a trailer or bringing your family's bicycles to the park on a rear mou...

http://www.audiocostruzioni.com/r_s/ampli/amplificatori-integrati/nad-3020i/nad%203020I%202012.jpg I realize this thread is almost 6 years old, but I noticed a local ad for a 3020 as above along with a pair of Paradigm Phantom V2 speakers and a Sony 5-disc changer for $175obo. I don't have an immed...

I just purchased this 95 from a fellow CAM member with perfect feedback who delivered it right to my doorstep. Add to that that my last 95 was doing the same thing as soon as I received it and I can be fairly confident that it isn't a defective unit.

HDMI Audio was set to AUTO. I changed it to OFF. I also swapped HDMI cables. The first disc I played sounded fine to my ears but the time counter was erratic. Also, the HDMI light was on. Before I began playing the CD, my TV was also on. After I turned the TV off, The Oppo clicked, the HDMI light we...

brendelac, I have a Oppo BDP-93 and have found that at times it will operate erratically when both the HDMI and RCA's are connected simultaneously. I believe it is due to HDMI and how it "handshakes" between components. When I encounter problems I just disconnect one connection from the O...

It's possible that the Oppo is simply overheating, which will cause it to operate erratically. Check to make sure there is no dust build-up on the fan port on the rear. Also, is the unit stacked with other heat producing components or situated in a tight spot with minimum air circulation? Nope. No ...

Very odd.... What happens if you play the CD through the HDMI connection, rather than the RCA? Haven't tried that yet, but am experimenting with it now and thus far, it's playing fine. I was using a PS3 for CD and BD playback for years through HDMI and never an issue. One other thing I've noticed i...

I am on my second BDP-95 and both have had the same issue which leads me to believe that it is a error on my settings/connections or potentially my Denon AVR-4311. When using the RCA analog outputs, occasionally the CD playback will be too fast or the time counter second-by-second will be moving at ...

Did they give you a reason for denying the $100 basic coverage? No, just said: no insurance,we sorry, there's no compensation. Also, for us, customers, refer to my last screenshot. As foreigners saying: what's wrong with Canada Post, I am totally fossilled. I don't get it. If there is $100 coverage...
