I have a cheapie Optex USB microscope, and I had a hard time getting it to work most of the time. I suspected a conflict with my (Win 10) laptop's web cam, so I disabled it and got rid of its driver entirely. The microscope works perfectly now, and nothing good could ever come from using a web cam a...

Very nice table! I am a Linn guy, but I have a TD-160 Super in my second system; and I love it. If you want to improve it, I installed a Linn Valhalla power supply board in mine. It made a big difference. Mine came without an arm, so I installed a Linn Akito with an Ortofon MC20 Super (through a fir...

Guys, to each his own. The question from the OP was clearly posted because of a CAM ad from someone who has been a member a long time and who actively participates in the forums. Maybe a *bit* of diplomacy is in order? ...I draw a hard line at supply-side magic and undisputed dispute mechanisms... ...

Jeez, I hope your system doesn't revolve. It'd be a bugger getting to the turntable to put a record on.  Maybe his speakers are Leslies. ...I think only musicians will get that Mike... 8) Not necessarily. I know a few drummers who might know what a Leslie is.

I read that the box contains a granulated mineral with electrodes embedded in it. Apparently these "salts" electro molecular structure is ideal for providing the most consistent drain for signals. Aside from that, I'd have to see more to comment on the efficacy of such a device. It sounds...

As long as there are people who are more interested in obsessive tweaking than actually listening to music, there will be no shortage of little boxes designed to separate them from their money.

you cannot delete your cam membership by deleting everything from your PC. That just doesn't happen. You're CAM membership is stored on the sites servers, not on your PC.

If it was my choice and these were the only options, I'd pick the Hitachi 320. A more substantial arm provides more options than the T4p arrangement on the 21. The Dual brand has a large following, but I would never consider a deck with a 10" platter to play 12" records. Normally I would ...
