I second the comments about Windows defender and Win10. If you really want an anti-virus, ClamAV is an open--source alternative I have used in the past. Of more concern than viruses are Trojans, DNS exploits etc. The single biggest vulnerability that most people have is that they do not change the d...

I occasionally sell vinyl at various local record shows and occasionally here. Some random thoughts 1. I have noted a significant increase in asking prices and some absurd mark-ups on items that are available for similar or very close prices as reissues - Kinks, Led Z, Beatles etc- most of the major...

The records I had done by the AudioDesk seemed to benefit most in terms of frequency extension. Lead in noise is still ther...

I think what we may see is more demands by the US to harmonize the rules respecting casual importing without penalties during our upcoming NAFTA talks-similar to what happened with in person trips. A sale to the US of under $800 attracts no tax to the buyer. In Canada the casual import seems to have...

I suppose all things being equal if you run a laptop on battery and listen on headphones for "digital" noise as opposed to the ambient noise differential caused by different power schemes when plugged in or on battery such as CPU throttling, fan settings etc.

The power supply for the laptop is designed for its specific...
