I was running dual Velodyne Mini Vees on a few bookshelf systems. Amazing how fast, low and impactful these are. 1000 rms and an 8" driver in a 10x10x12" package too. Integration with the mains was quite seamless as well. That is something. Those specs and small dimensions are impressive....

go wireless - no brainer cause wireless works well with a tube amp and $300+ wired headphone? OP – outside the extension found at Long & McQuade, you could contact Gene at Take Five Audio. He can either make an extension or perhaps make a full length custom cable at your desired length. ...

go wireless - no brainer I'm not quite on board with wireless sound quality yet. Thanks. -- 11 Nov 2017 15:09 -- Thanks boys. My main concern is maintaining decent sound quality. Wasn't sure if it's as crucial as speaker cable tends to be.-- 11 Nov 2017 15:10 -- go wireless - no brainer cause wirel...

Hello gents,

I'm requiring a fairly long headphone cable and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions up to around $100 or less.

I'm running a Linear Tube Audio MZ2 amp to Beyerdynamic Custom One Pros. I'll require a cable with 3.5mm to 1/4" (6.35mm)

Thanks!

From further research, it looks like there are "AudioUnits" you can download for Audirvana which can give you these functions. I used the MacOSX EQ function but all it did was introduce a lot of audible distortion. I'm thinking it had to be a compatibility issue between Mac and Audirvana.

That's so great to hear, if you don't mind me asking, are you running it as a pre or integrated? Currently I’m using the MZ2S to drive headphones, ZMFs Eikon along with PS Audio Direct Stream Memory Player and Wyred4sound 2V2 SE Dac , Love it however at some point I plan to purchase some high effic...

Hey guys, I'm awaiting a Linear Tube Audio MZ2 tube pre/integrated/headphone amp. After a lot of research and great reviews, I pulled the trigger. This unit will allow me to use it as a pre or as an integrated amp for my Tekton DI's freeing up my Line Mag to power a second system when desired. Woul...

Wow, that's too bad customers aren't being notified of possible product changes. Good on you for sending them back. I would only hope Tekton should be paying all associated costs with shipping.-- 08 Oct 2017 07:32 --Sorry, just read your latest reply. Doesn't seem right you'd have to pay for shippin...

Well, here they are. I set them up in my main listening area, small room, 9' listening distance. Immediately you can see what the hype is about. They are very good speakers. I moved them upstairs IMG_0388.JPG A vaulted and bigger room which is where my second stereo is. This where they'll stay. So ...

I have used an app called Vnc viewer which allows you to see your Mac screen . You also have to have remote access enabled on the Mac, once this is set , run audirvana on Mac , connect to the Mac IP address using vnc viewer on the iPad ... and you then control audirvana on the iPad. You also might ...
