Boy it's a long line up, but I gotta take a # and stand in line to praise Dan too. He's an audio repair artist, a gentleman, friendly, fair and fantastic. I'm very grateful for his great service and sage advice! Thanks Dan. Well deserved recognition. Don-- 12 Oct 2017 23:50 --Boy it's a long line up...

Joshua Tree has U2s best songs - but past the first few tracks is a dud to me. Achtung is good all the way through and has really grown on me over the years. I'm much more likely to listen to Achtung these days.

Sebastian, you will know it when you see it. I have seen a few less-than-reasonable requests on the few items I have sold. What is the worst for me is the loser who strings you along over multiple emails, "negotiates" a price, gets you to provide all sorts of additional pictures, etc. The...

Just stick with 6H23P-EB, AI is not really for tube rolling. It's been tried by many incl. myself with limited success. I appreciate the input..... I am enjoying the preamp; very refined and natural.... I got the pre with the following from The Tube Store: Reflector 6H23p-EB: http://www.thetubestor...

I'm using them in an Audible Illusions L3 I just picked up on CAM. I am curious if people know other tubes I could try. Knowing the high output levels in the AI L3, I read that regular 6922's might not last long. So I am guessing (?) these are capable of handling a higher current. I have no complain...

Ok, tons of good info: since posting I've learned the difference between sound blocking and sound absorbtion. Plants - that seems like a natural. Heavy wall material but include the spacer. Cloth couches vs leather ... too late on that one - already leather. Bigger Rug in motion. Corners... will try...

Moved houses, now have 25x15 audio room which is also living room. Bad news: well made house but rock hard plaster, hardwood floors, lots of light (glass), and stone fire place. Lot of sound bouncing going on. Any thing with reverb smears. Anything with high frequency intensity rings if turned up at...

Another feature I like in Deezer is "Similar artists".... tracing them down for a listen. Contrast these new capabilities with the old days of scanning Rolling Stone, or Melody Maker or Grammphone... for how awesome these new services are. I'm listening now to a new version of Mahler's 9th...

I use Deezer and Tidal for streaming music.. so much music is available on these services. As a means of finding new music to listen to I've taken to browsing allmusic.com new releases; and genres, picking up good ideas, then streaming it through the music services. I've found so much new music this...

Uh...no one remember the same complaint in the 60s, 70s and 80s? Same story. As a production medium vinyl has always been highly variable. Especially back in the day when they went to flexi-discs which was just the record companies using less material and claiming they were less prone to warping. Cl...
