I've been using the Allnic 'Speednic' for almost a decade. They list at around $500cdn but I picked up a bunch of them from Allnic at a helluva good price - a price I could pass along.

Back in the 3dB days we auditioned a pair of those for a couple of weeks. Never could figure out what the fuss was all about. And we tried everything to get them to make music. They imaged beautifully but there was no toetap in 'em!

I use the Micromega, a Music Hall DAC15.2 and a Newprime Mini. All good, all affordable! (But when I do care to get all serious I use my Allnic D5000 - Superb and not all that affordable!)
