as luck would have it a minty fresh no hum perfect working AG9016 arrived on my doorstep this AM and all of her 2 single ended watts sound really sweet! now that I have 2 I can flip the switch at the back and try them each as monoblocs... will have to repaint the yellow one first though LOL :D

albinosquirlz, the sae is almost flawless and now rebuilt so keeping it for my 98db eminence 15's, it sounds fabulous on them! better than my Yamaha M2! the DR3 is almost flawless as well and will be getting the full treatment in a couple weeks time, I'll be keeping it to swap out for my tube amps o...

yes reliability is paramount, thanks for the advice anatech! I don't want any mods so I'll just have to keep searching for a much lower noise fan... I did see some 510M threads that mention replacement fans at about 40db... the papst I got is 42db @3300rpm but honestly I'm expecting a good quiet fan...
