THe v15 is not the best match for the existing arm. You may want to think about an arm swap and keeping the cartridge.

I like to look at like this. As a consumer we have a choice. Out side marketing, subjective views and or objective measurements (or lack of) one can not debate that choice. It’s a matter of acceptance. ___________________ Double D, it's a digital signal. You cannot lose bits. Bumpy – digital transm...

At the risk of igniting a can of napalm.. I voted "digital".. however, I will explain. I wholeheartedly believe that a system approach is the most balanced approach to cables, ergo.. follow the signal, if you don't get it at the start, no amount of loving is going to coax it downstream. S...

Could if be that the contacts are better just because the cable is new? That would lead to the power cable being important... as well as the power outlet.

Yes, it's a DIN. AFAIK, the phono cable is made by furutech. In my experience, wire is overpriced. Which makes me very careful. It's something that I cannot reliably detect. It could just be about the circuits involved when subjected to small changes in capacitive/inductive loading. Which would expl...

I have a stock cable on my DV507 mkII tonearm. Apparently, the cable that makes the biggest difference is the phono cable.

Will the audio sensibility cable be an improvement? Which one? Do they have a home audition available?

Thanks.

Maggies must really be a love or hate relationship. I have the MMG's and have been unhappy with them for a few reasons. Recently I threw a wack of power at them and was greatly impressed by how much they picked up. However, I had wanted to build a very simple system and now having to add a power am...

I saw a long clip of Prez Chump's speech last night and he slurred multiple times throughout like he had a mouthful of salt. Either heavy duty anti-depressants or maybe his diet is catching up with him. The United Shursh.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp40Uztk3bg I would hate to think he...

As a result, signal quality is lost because twice the amount of amplifier circuitry is in the signal path. I don’t think there is any fact to that. A well designed balanced topology should not degrade the signal. As for single ended, there are many complex designs as there are simple ones implement...

Also try to maintain absolute polarity. It will be up to you to determine if either amp or preamp inverts polarity(phase). Gary Absolute polarity seems to be something that recording studios will sometimes invert. There was a list floating around the internet somewhere the identified which record la...

Suppose your noise floor is -90dB. Then with Balanced won't it be 96 dB? Which is not 30%

I notice that a lot of the suggestions on here are for niche products that failed in the marketplace, some of them miserably, because no one wanted to buy them, yet many great products with very long product lives and strong sales like the Dynaco A-25, AR-3a, JBL L-100, Shure M-91eD, AR Turntable b...
