He has such a loose grip on reality that his legal team thinks he cannot stop lying -- even under oath.

Simply put: Trump is insane.

We can even think of the situation as being inherently ionic, in the dynamic of conduction. If there is any resistance at all, which there is....then it is ionic. Not by much, but it is... Only with a superconductor.... is the flow in the state that electrical theory states it is in -- with regard ...

Yes, that's what I'm saying too.... the power factor, which is basically a measure of how much capacitance/inductance the amp sees, can affect how that amp operates. Those unconditionally stable amps don't care about power factor. So, at least with respect to changing how the amp operates, cables do...

You guys appear to be looking at C in isolation. When you combine it with the inductance of the voice coil, you will find that there is a change to the power factor. Meaning that the phase angles between the current and voltage will change. The capacitance would have to be of sufficient magnitude fo...

I've been using the full NCF package since it came out. Absolutely phenomenal! Prior to that I had used both the GTX-D (R) and (G). In my system, I had preferred the gold over the rhodium, but then the NCF seemed to take the best of both and go further yet. Anybody else that has gone this route thr...

Personally I associate sibilance with the "s", "z" and "sh" sounds produced by a singer. These are called sibilant consonants. They are produced by the tongue and the teeth. When they are distorted, they don't sound as though they were made by a normal mouth. I don't u...

That arm needs a high compliance cartridge. I don't know of any MC that qualify.

Conventional wisdom is that electrolytic capacitors degrade while film caps (poly, mylar, etc) do not. When I changed the factory film caps my 1975 Tannoy Berkeley crossovers with new entry level Clarity Caps the improvement was significant, so I think it's worth changing them no matter what the ty...

It would be interesting to see an impedance vs frequency graph of each speaker/crossover.

I suspect that the speakers on top have an odd impedance curve at their crossover regions, while the lower ones are more benign.

I don't understand at all what Teo wrote.

What sort of distortions is he talking about? Can someone describe a couple for me?

But, there can be other reasons for sibilance. Sibilance may reflect the trackability of the tonearm/cartridge combo. So, if the tonearm /cartridge is mismatched, it can happen. If the tonearm is not set up properly, it can happen. If the cartridge is simply a poor tracker, it can happen. If the rec...
