There are numerous threads here on Bryston’s legendary customer service. I have only had a single instance of a repair being required by Bryson, but I found their service quality was top notch also.

You know - a couple of you have come down on those who say "none". Like it is some big attempt to create chaos. If the OP did not want to hear from any of those people - there would not have been a option to pick none. Second, there is absolutely no proof that those who discretain a diffe...

Should specify interconnects to be either RCA or XLR. Changes in the latter have a significantly smaller delta than single-ended cables. For me, it was surprisingly the power cable on both a tube Jolida amp and also the latest Hegel H360. I was honestly shocked and couldn't explain it, and I'm not ...

I would be concerned just because of the reports of Classe either closing or has closed. Something for you to check before making a rather expensive purchase. They claim to be available for service afterwards but we've all heard those stories before and they often don't end well. I think they were ...

I’d rather see these guys in concert than Ed Sheran

I’d be interested in hearing the opinions on the BDA-1 as I’m thinking of using one on my BDP-1 instead of the DAC built in to my Anthem AVM60.

These were very decent sounding units which were developed using amp technology developed by Nelson Pass. My 30 year old unit is still happily driving a pair of B&W bookshelf speakers in my garage. That said, I would not pay anything over $150-200 for a good condition unit, at this age, they cou...

From personal experience with using my xlr connections i find about 3db gain in the signal. Yes and a quieter noise floor. Besides that they are a better physical connection to the gear. All of the above but I also feel true balanced connections tend to remove a lot of the variations from one cable...

Love silk dome tweeters, hate metal foil domes. I'm with Quad. Never met a set of metal tweeters that did not make my skin crawl. If they are not shrieking at me, they sound as harsh as fingernails on a chaulk board. I have a set of JBL S38's in a stack with a pair of CV D7's in my basement system....

I find it strange that Logitech keeps abandoning their successful product lines. They make some nice equipment but I’d be SOL if they didn’t release the Squeezebox software for open sourced development. Now, another product line bites the dust. I also have a Harmony remote and love the functionality...

Haven’t tried them in a home environment, but I have a buddy who used to do touring pro sound for the big guys and the Lab Gruppen PLM are the big boys amps used for some of the major PA houses for L’Acoustic, vertek, Myer and D+B Technik systems. Very big watts (think like 2-3000 per channel), very...
