Came up from Halifax to see them tonight in Windsor. Seen them four times before with Walter, always amazing. Hi, I am going to say something here that is going to irritate some people, maybe even infuriate a few people. And I am torn up about it. My grandma said; if you can't say something nice, then zip it up. So, this will be very carefully phrased. I have heard and intentionally auditioned Totem speake...

Saw Roger a few years back when he blew into Toronto for The Wall show at ACC. it was an incredible show that really highlighted how much the effects/projection technology has progressed. I can only imagine how good they are now. I was struck by how much more I enjoyed him than David Gilmore’s show ...

Strange isn't it? I find Sunken Condos to be a disappointment both musically and sonically. Don't get me wrong, I'll happily choose this album over most other artists best career efforts, its just that (to me anyway) doesn't hit my G-spot like his others did.

True, for a tube that might be in there for years, it might start to sound worse. Or possibly silver, a better conductor but will oxidise unlike gold. Good point, a connection will only be as good as the lesser conductor anyway. I believe that silver oxide is still as conductive as pure silver. Tar...

I built a summing box about a year ago. It was quite easy to build and I kept a diagram with close up pictures... In fact, I am sure I could build you one. What were you hoping for in fair price for one? Can it be made to look like a simple Y-adaptor? PM'd Absolutely, I've done it in the past with ...

Not sure but I doubt it. It would be cost prohibitive to build 11 fully differential circuits and probably not really required for this application.

The units are similar. The AVM 60 does not have the amps section obviously but trades that for balanced outputs and a dedicated headphone amplifier which the receiver's don't have. It also has multi-channel analogue inputs. Depends what your requirements are. I personally went with the AVM60 because...

I think this strategy applies to most of us here. Generally, other than speakers with foam surrounds and the ca...

Would you call that balanced? Those inputs are differential amps,so yes.You can feed them balanced or unbalanced. No active circuitry required. Gary Hi Gary: Using a differential amp (input) and phase-splitter (on output) does not make the circuit an true, full-balanced design; where there is essen...

I used the Canada Post COD option once several years ago as a seller. The process was surprisingly painless and appears to be very safe for both seller and buyer. Should be looked at as an alternative to PayPal.
