I have a pair of Cambridge Aero 6’s. They use a BMR. I would say the sound is balanced across frequencies. Non fatiguing and well suited to play most genres of music. I listen to Folk,Jazz, Blues and rock. I can turn them up to Rock levels and they are just as stable as mid level listening. I can no...

I made a comment on the CBC radio website last night after realizing it was gone. I built part of my system around listening to "Tonic". My tuner is a Lafette Tube Tuner , Tonic took on a special magic being played through it. CBC was very prompt in responding to me comment. The reply is b...

Yes.In some ways it is more important for me to have a good system in my vehicles. When life starts to suck and home is a little to chaotic, I jump in the truck and go for a long drive. I live near Ottawa, so usually head to Montreal for a smoked meat. The last two vehicles I have owned were trucks....

If you are going to get all nostalgic, why not tone controls, loudness compensation, multiple pair speaker switching and AFFORDABLE speakers and amplifiers. that were built to be repairable rather than throw away? +1 I really miss a balance control. I had hearing damage in my left ear a few years a...

I've been looking at MapleTree Audio design. I like what I read. Price is reasonable.

I "personally" like it. Please don't flame me. :) Could be exciting. I have a couple of thoughts that might increase testing and refining of code on your backend folks. 1. For a limited time.(Beta) Wave the $2 posting fee and the 2%. This I would think would get more users to try it. Would...

Is the hum that people are talking about coming from the head phones or when connected to speakers ? I own the MP301 and have NO hum when using speakers ( all my speakers are 8 or 16 ohms) with any tubes. When I use my head phones. ( B & O H6 32 ohms) there is some slight hum but I was under the...

I have been lusting after that Amp and some other Deware products for some time now.

Please keep us updated on your impressions. I have also been looking at the Betsy Single driver open baffles, but after the exchange rate, it just doesn't work financially.

Enjoy,
Tony

So far, the Audio Note room has impressed me the most. Nice warm, detailed sound and very clear. I've never heard Eva Cassidy sound so good. We are looking forward to tomorrow, we were hoping to stay at the Bonaventure one more night but they are booked because of the Ottawa / Montreal hockey game. ...
