I lived in a Condo a couple of years ago. It was an old Stone Mill that had units built inside it. I purchased a pair of Unity Audio Inner Souls. They were at the time actually sold as Condo friendly speakers. They worked very well with Solid State or Tube amps. The Condo was fairly large. 1900 sq f...

I have the exact one in the link. I use it for my workshop , with a pair of Minimus 7's and a CD player. It sounds fine. No problems driving the 7's. I run it at 22 volts.

This thread peaked my curiosity. So I googled audio fuse. This was one of the products I found. I would not want a fuse filled with a liquid inside any of my audio equipment.

I had a pair. I have regretted selling them, many times. I used them with a 50 Watt PP Tube Amp. David Gilmour, Rattle that Chain -CD / or Album sounded great! So did Jazz /Blues and Vocals

Please hold back the flames. I’m a simply an average joe asking a question. There’s probably an apparent reason, I have given it some thought. I just can’t come up with an answer that makes sense to me. Why can’t different configurations, be recorded and then played back to show the differences in s...

Decware recently came out with this device for tube amps.

Purist Tube EQ for Bass Restoration

I don’t know how it works or if it works. It might be an alternative to a Sub.

I have the smaller brother model. Phillips Spectron SP-30. (Two Way) I had the woofers re-foamed. They have a high sensitivity. There are a good fit with my low wattage Tube amps. Bests with Jazz and Female Vocals. I am planning however to replace the tweeters. There are the infamous AD 0160 / T8.

I also have Tinnitus. I settled on B&O H6 over ear headphones. They are vary balanced, not too much bass, light enough to wear for hours. Made of aluminum and the ear pads are a very soft leather. This article steered me towards them.

I am sure most people would be happy with the frequency limits of these two fullrange drivers . I have had many hours with Tangbands ,Fostex's Mark Audios 's and Seas smaller drivers . Nothing comes close to the efficiency and dynamic range of these Fanes . I listened to the 12's but not the 15's ....
