I've had buyers start with "I'll take it" let me know shipping cost, I'll usually reply within 2 hours with a price but 50/50 if I ever get a response again. Not sure if your case is similar but it can get frustating after many like this.

Those units have very poor quality capacitors in the power supply in my 740 they were all very far from spec and some were bulging and leaking, I've never seen such junk in any other modern gear.

There was a diy website where the guy tested various wires and found twisted was better than braided, can't remember the sit...

The 100 mf 16 volt and the 4.7 mf 16 volt are in the protection circuit, no need to change. The others except the 1000mf look like film caps mylar or pp, these don't usually go bad especially in a speaker. That 1000mf is used in alot of b&w speakers from the 70's, pretty sure they were used as a...

The new catch phrase is "is there any wiggle room on the price".

I consider low ball offers any who offer 25% less than a reasonable asking price, those offers are just ignored.

Very strange, no audition pay in advance and pickup without hearing them? Guy is either crazy or just put them there to see if there is any interest.

Thinking of importing a turntable from Japan, they ship using DHL. Will there be additional charges once it lands here? Has anyone ever done this?
