Speakers that use a "transmission line" are, by definition, "horn speakers". I don't know what to say. "Do guitars well"..., I would suspect you are referring to "electric guitar"? OR, are you talking acoustic? If acoustic, perhaps consider "full-range&qu...

Snowflake? Seriously? I did not personally attack you at any point. Enough of the personal insults. If you have a personal problem with me - PM me. I'd gladly talk to you about it over a beer next time I am in Winnepeg, which is quite often. Otherwise, express your thoughts but it no point is it acc...

So some pin head has always got to bring President Trump into the conversation. Trudy isn’t exactly a professor. Whatever. Excuse me? Are you honestly calling me - insulting me verbally as a pin head? I'd love to see you say that to my face. If that is how you are going to act here - I suggest you ...

I don't think your question was answered in the last reply. Yes, if the power meters are "in the red zone" you are likely either clipping or in the "danger zone" of doing such. Reference level is usually at the 0 db level, -14 is not really that far off; meaning, you are likely n...

That video just proved to me that there are people in our world more stupid than the current President of the United States. The worst part is he is raising his kid to follow in his idiotic footsteps. Too bad he did not get shocked from the residual energy in one of it's capacitors. That would have ...

No, you don't necessarily need a power amp. This is a misconception. Your speakers are capable of over 100db of sound pressure at 1 meter with 1 watt. Look up a db scale and you will learn very quickly that things can get loud without a lot of wattage. The idea is to provide your speakers clean powe...

I don't recall offering such a suggestion to a one word question - i.e. 50.
In fact, I have not seen anyone in the thread suggesting such.

I am confused, where did this come from?

Here is something to think about. The "offer"; whether you like it or not, is the start of a conversation - the means to the ends. For those who simply respond "no", which I personally think is rude, why not actually respond back with some substance. Low baller or not, people des...

bryston pairs well with paradigm, psb, and (of course) similar designed speakers.
I had great experiences with mine keep along these house sounds. Sometimes the upgrade bug is just that.

Just a note, the su-v8 is not affected by the class A light not operating. i had a su-v8 and I am quite familiar with it. BTW, if you recap the amp, go with muse for the small caps and mundorf on the large filter caps. Mine was absolutely amazing. one of the best amps I've heard when completely reca...

I agree, 91.1 is one of the reasons I own a Dynalab. The article, on the other had, is full of controversy. I don't disagree that there may be folks pitted to bring down key management - but, there is still tact to what you can say and how you can say it today. Things are just not the same as they w...

UPS has been overcharging for packing supplies, materials, pretty much about everything. I avoid them at all costs if I can. Canada Post is my first choice, later items go to Purolator.
