I use a Soundmatters FoxL V2 . https://www.audiobasics.com/acatalog/foxLv2_Platinum_w_AQcable_300x.jpg Is it that good? Do you have the sub for it? If you need a good, small portable BT speaker, believe it or not, the Bose Soundlink Mini II is fabulous. Yes, I know Bose isn't really an audiophile brand, but their SL Mini II is really that good, for it's size. Probably the best BT speaker in that size category. Trust me. Go listen to one.

I had Totem Rainmakers for a while, paired with a Naim Nait 5i. I thought the combination was excellent. Dynamic, punchy, airy and great PRaT.

Hi All, I'm struggling to find a reasonable solution for ripping and storing my large CD collection. I really only want to rip and store / playback from HD on my Naim Unitiqute. I've looked at Bluesound but don't need all the extra's, I've looked at Naim solutions but 2.5-4K is a little high. I wil...

Some people, like me, just enjoy the hunt and thrill of buying and selling. I get bored really easily and usually keep gear no more than a month or two. Sometimes even just a few weeks. Maybe it's the thrill of looking for the next piece of gear to buy. Buying used allows this, as I don't lose much ...

They are very responsive. OTH the worst I have encountered is Harman Group: you can't even contact a human being working there. Worst company I ever dealt with was JVC. Honestly, anything you buy from them, good luck ever getting it serviced or even being able to find a spare part for it. That's th...

In terms of the power supply, maybe, but not necessarily. I've had both a BDP-1 and a Simaudio 180 Mind that plugs in with a wall wart, and found the quality of Bryston and Simaudio to be almost identical, SQ wise. The difference was in inputs and software adn control app. I can't speak for Squeezeb...

Many people who have been playing for an extended period of time may be guilty of this. Many may have learned quickly, or still do it after 30 years of playing. But what happens when you use an instrument cable instead of a speaker cable to run your amp? And, furthermore, what are the differences b...

I did the same upgrade (to AVM60) for same reason (that plus Dolby Atmos). I had an MRX-700 that was decent for some 2 channel listening, but it always bothered me somehow that I couldn't bypass the a/d d/a conversion for phono once I added a tt to my video system. In terms of bang for buck, the mr...
