For my two cents I simply have to say that the CD player and pre section, combined w the fact that you can also utilize the Dac, represent one of the best values of gear I have had in my setup. The CD player itself is worth the price of admission in my opinion alone. It's a bloody shame that the com...

I suppose I'll bite and chime in here. I too have had my fair share of Bryston units. However, to me, the 14BST was the most robust and overall impressive amp. More so than the 3BSST2 even. It just sounded more cavernous. And that was on highly sensitive Tannoy Ardens to boot. It was just better all...

I preferred them over the Energy Reference connoisseur 22's and B&W 602 S3's. If that means anything to you I suppose that may be of help.

I'd be running mine with a bp 20 with the onboard dac so I would think it would do the job. Thanks for the input as I'm starting to lean toward the Yamaha.

The original version. I might be able to rope together 2 late model originals for a decent price that have both been brought back to spec within the last few years by Bryston. I want the grunt but not the edginess. Indeed I had an original 4 awhile back but it was a little beat up so I didn't get th...

Generally I would agree with your assessment in the bass department. However in this particular regard I've been told that the 2002m doesn't follow in the footsteps as its predecessors. Can anyone offer another assessment?

Due to some recent unfortunate experiences I need to downsize my amp setup. Now I understand the inherit harshness that is inherited in the Bryston 4B but the one's I'm considering have both been updated and check out to original spec. I simply am interested in the monos because of the possible curr...

Greed? Really that's the assumption you take? Gentleman, let me be clear on one thing. The guy responded to my wanted ad, he in turn posted the Sim 5 here on CAM once I initially passed on it. He provided a phone number to speak with him, detailed photos of the Bryston I was initially interested in,...

Do a little more research and you'll see that there are various scams included in this guy's or group's repertoire. Also, the phone numbers given me to communicate with him planted him in Olympia Washington, which I investigated before the transfer, and the second was from D.C. (which I investigated...

To clarify, the negotiations were drawn out and very relaxed in fashion. It was not a knee jerk reaction here, I carefully considered a number of options. Regardless, hindsight is 20/20 and after further thought I worked fast to try to stop the transactions. It appears I was moments late as the tran...

To respond to chevalo, the passport that he "scanned" and sent to me as proof of his identity can be found under google images with the word "fake" surrounding it. Also, the numerous profiles he also presented to me were, upon further investigation, simple fronts. His Facebook pa...
