I sold a bunch of mine, probably had over 800 with a ton of box sets and limited editions, there's a couple I kept for sentimental reasons though. Honestly didn't get that much but I'm so happy I did it. Its absolutely ridiculous to own physical media and to store all of that. Over the last like 6 -...

I use amazon prime, its great. Every delivery usually happens the next day or the day after, their return policy is excellent too. I get a handful to like 20+ items a week.

I don't really know how these work but assuming you've downloaded the profiles themselves to your device, couldn't you just block any connections from the Link which are trying to go out of the network hence preventing the I guess forced update which bricks them?

Despite my personal reservations about Hans Zimmer (he uses alot of uncredited ghost writers and is essentially a theme writer now and has been for over 2 decades) this was actually the best concert I've watched in a very long time. I went into it expecting nice arrangements but bad sound and an alr...

I had a date with a really lovely woman on Thursday so I made sous vide lamb with my partner, it was amazing. We're the worst about taking pics though because none of us remember to do so before we start eating.

If David Suzuki approves, so do I (Seriously, I don't know what he does, I just know he has some lame facial hair and looks like a dirty hippie?)

Nice!! I agree with your choice – the 8700 is a killer gaming CPU but just too limited for a serious workstation. What motherboard did you decide on? I’m also temped on the Threadripper but just can’t justify the cost right now. I have enough surplus parts sans CPU/MB and DDR4 RAM. Price of RAM jus...

I was actually going to link that Linus vid in my previous post. A NMVe drive controlled by the PCH (chipset) will still have much higher throughput than even the fastest SATA SSD’s but you are sharing that bandwidth with other devices on the PCH. You will have to refer to the motherboard’s manual ...

I agree, why does mr photo op b*tch feel the need to milk this for all its worth? It's also not like Trudeau ever did anything of substance for Aboriginals.

It's ridiculous that it's getting harder to sell android media boxes. Why should the company selling / configuring them be responsible for what an end user decides to do if they've been appropriately warned. If I didnt have my own massive media server / private cloud I could install kodi + streaming...

Use Waves plugins, they have an audio unit version https://www.waves.com/plugins/q10-equalizer Is usually what I use. Lots of customization with that one. Thanks for the info. The sound quality on it is just incredible. I use their plugins pretty much exclusively in my mastering. I would love to fi...

If you're planning to rip CDs using your computer - I recommend you download Exact Audio Copy (EAC) for free. http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ Please excuse my ignorance but why a ripping app.? I've always slipped the cd into my iMac and let the computer do the copying. Never had a problem. EAC perfor...
