Hopefully you just blew a fuse inside. You'll have to take the cover off and check. If the fuse is ok, then you've done some damage. Good luck.

Sorry, I see there is already a dedicated thread for this.

Sad news indeed especially so close to retiring. I've never had the honour of meeting him but it sounds he was well respected and liked. RIP.

You need quality small stand mounted 2 way (preferably not ported) speakers. You need to be listening near field (sitting very close with speakers toed in). Your listening position shouldn't be more than a few feet away from the speakers.

My Linn Sondek is from the early '90's, I'm using a '70's Kenwood tuner (KT 8300) in my main system, a 70's Kenwood tuner (KT 7300) in a secondary system. These tuners were some of the best tuners ever made and still are. I'm also using a '70's Kenwood intregated amp in my secondary system which sou...

I think this is the same show put on by the same people as last weekend in St. Catherines that I went to. They do 2-3 shows every year here and it is always the same vendors. I've learned from previous shows that: 1 - I hate the crowds as mentioned. People pushing and shoving. 2 - How are you suppos...

I own both KT7300 and KT8300 Kenwood tuners. Either will be a cosmetic match for your amp. The 8300 is probably what Kenwood at the time would tell you to match with. It is a better tuner but unless you are needing the best a 7300 would be a better bargain.

A person can always go over to the Steve Hoffman Forums and read the discussions. A lot of industry people frequent the forums there and the actual engineers, producers and mastering folks will answer questions. Nobody will get away with anything there. If I'm looking for analog. I look for t...

This is shockingly sad news indeed. I have dealt with Gary since 1995. Just six months ago he spent the afternoon in my home taking my Linn system to fully aktiv mode. He was always so easy to talk to and there wasn't anything he didn't know about an LP12 table. My condolences to his family.
