Sigh, I found your post to be slightly condescending and your submersion question very patronizing so Congrats??.....Unless you were being serious about submersion and then I just smh. AS for your dog spittle comment, it seems to come from a place of - for lack of a better word - ignorance....I lied...

^^ they're also extremely UNcommon....well for humans, don't know about pigs : )

Nah for reals, if you had an ear infection you wouldn't be using your iems. Regardless, cleaning with alcohol would kill it anyway.

I hope all who post here actually own iems :\

I can't even be bothered to check-in over at IF any more that he's gone. Mostly because of his YT channel his reviews and musings came with a personal touch rarely seen.

I'd wait on the Dave until you can hear the Qutest (w/linear ps) with the Blu mk2 Scaler. I've heard it is not at all far off what Dave + Blu offers

I know the best, David Susilo. Ya, I work the guy so I'm a little biased but just Google his name for his laundry list of credentials and A/V companies he's made contributions to. ISF and THX Certified, PhD in Psychoacoustics, 30K Twitter followers lol I've always been more interested in his ear for...

Honestly if you're happy with your speakers just add a second sub. Any speaker you purchase to reproduce bone bass will to be too large for you to want to move it for every listening session...unless it's castered like Wilson's. While I'm a dealer for JL (as well as high-end audio, too many brands t...

I've also bought and sold HD800 a couple of times. SDR mod really was the difference in them sticking around this time - not applicable to HD800S. Also owned the HD800S and preferred my SDR modded HD800 as I felt the bass leaked into the midrange and weren't as transparent nor open sounding. Used a ...

I'm very curious of the sonics between the Pontus, Venus and Terminator myself. Torq reviewed an Ares over at SBAF. He's holding back his thoughts on the Pontus until the other members on the tour get a chance to hear it. I'm in the market for a DAC but I still have no idea which one to get. One of ...

What do you personally consider to be the ‘sweet spot’ product (or products) in your range in terms of maximum performance per dollar ($), pound (£), or euro (€)? What sets those products apart? George Cardas: Iridium Speaker & Interconnect are far and away the best performance per dollar—what ...

First of all good choice on Cardas! I was never a huge fan of George's designs (a little too warm for me) but his newer offerings are much more neutral. With that being said, this is an easy one...Iridium!!! Working in the business I've been able to use every interconnect from Nordost, Kimber, AQ, C...

The best budget bookshelf speaker I've heard in a long time is the ELAC B6. They image really well and the bass is good. The downside is you need decent electronics to get the most out of them. Unequivocally yes, the Debut series are the best budget speakers going today....B5 are the best value of ...
