Having been in and out of retail for 40 years, when this is the first question asked, you have generally lost the sale already. There is one member of CAM ( not sure of the member name ) who came up with a very clever statement in all of his ads, something to the effect of: " please don't ask ...

You can use PayPal but specify you will only accept a friend/family payment....this way no buyer or seller protection is attached (meaning you both have to trust each other with a straight up sale). The Friends and Family option is not available for cross border transactions. Tried it several times...

I did buy and sell several times to/from US buyers and used friends/family options via PayPal - no issues. I find in general that dealing with US Audiomart members was very positive and trusting.

Same here, they're feedback system is equally as important as it is here

I sold a Sony DAT on ebay as is, untested, unknown working condition other than it powered on to a guy in the USA. I CLEARLY stated NO REFUNDS NO RETURNS in my auction. He bought it fully understanding this....I had email after email from him saying he understood. I shipped it...he hooked its up an...

I really liked the sound of the 110. But, it took me some getting used to after having a Dyna 10x for quite a while. Different sonic signature, but unsure which I liked more. A question though, as I still have my DL 110 and several other carts I am currently not using. What do you do with the carts...

Quick question. But I haven’t checked yet but I guess the fuse has a arrow on it, which direction in the amp is it supposed to be inserted (arrow facing left or right?)

A fuse is a non-polar device so it doesn't matter which way it is inserted.

Ok, thank you, that makes sense

The shure I’d have to double check but I suspect it’s mid to high compliance, so should work fine.

Having said that the me95ed wasn't as good as the m95ed and i too would stick with the ortofon (or ADC) if given the choice on that tonearm.

I feel like I’m in a different camp, but it doesn't say they re-spec'ed anything. Just checked and cleaned it all. Def not just “blowing dust” but also nothing labour intensive, from what I read. Unless it was really dirty of course and they had to spend a lot of time cleaning I feel like this’ll co...

The adc xlm/iii is very high compliance and requires a low mass tonearm for best fit. The Dual you have should fit the bill nicely as if I’m not mistaken I believe it’s a ULM tonearm

The ortofon on the technics is fine too. Especially if you're just gonna flip it

You'll need a stereo receiver and if it has a “phono” section then you can plug it into that. If it doesn't have a phono you'll need an additional phono preamp. Do you have a stereo or receiver or amplifier you've been considering? -- 02 Jun 2018 21:36 -- And yes’m, obviously some speakers to plug i...

Thats how I internally was feeling, just like I have been really reasonable, and patient, but really hitting a breaking point here. Dude, the breaking point could have happened in March. Unless there is som...
