If you were ever looking for a CR-2020 or 2040 from Yamaha don't miss this one! Let's start off with the faceplate... In a word... NOT A MARK! Pristine if you will! As are all of the knobs. The glass is absolutely scratch free as well. The wood case is in gorgeous condition. Definitely a receiver worth showcasing out in the open! Here you will not find chunks taken out of the back or anything like that. The wood case is in amazing condition in the front as it is on the back. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. You will not have any issues convincing your wife to showcase this on the shelf in the living room! :) Operationally this reciever is perfect! All lights are as bright as the day it was made. All tuner indicator lights work as they should. On the technical side... (if this interests you) All amplifier adjustments have been performed by a very qualified and well respected technician in Ontario. The tuner has also been aligned and performs excellently. Stations snap into place like a top performing tuner should. The sound... About all I can say is that the performance of this receiver really has to be experienced to be believed. If you are use to separates of high quality this reciever will definitely not disappoint. It's about as straight wire with gain as you are going to get from any audio component separates included. Simply amazing! This really does make a lot of other monster receivers sound coloured in comparison. Yes it is that good! Don't miss this opportunity. You don't find big Yamahas that are in the condition this one is in too often. I will bomb proof pack (as usual) for anyone needing shipping. Of course the shipping is to be paid by the buyer.
