Tandberg manufactured some of the best audio products ever to be offered to the general public. This receiver has no problem driving two pairs of celestion 44's. I would take this over any solid state within it's power range. The Tandberg TD 20a reel to reel had crossfield heads and as a result made boat anchors out of their rivals. I would take a 20a over any Revox or ??. Anytime anywhere. If you are looking for a vintage system the Celestions are also for sale. Pics on request. Thanks for looking.
