the Omaha room @ Montreal HiFi Expos was one of my favorite and there are only a few i liked out of all. Which end up me owning one.

Thru out my SET conquest this will be the best sounding 300B for the price being. Ask for more info in comparison although some might have better looks. But under a grand is hard to find another 300B as good sounding.

The sound is almost like 2A3 while running 300B Tubes. The mid/treble is so revealing and transparent like 2A3 that i have not heard another 300B amp like that. And there are plenty of bass which one review i read said no.

Is sad to see this amp goes because i will not find another 300B or 2A3 amp sound that good for the price. But i have something i really like i would like to get.

Amp comes with a pair of welly broken in Electron 300B Output Tubes which sounds good but i suggest upgrading to Electro Harmonix 300B. A pair of NOS Russian 6N2 / extra pair of pretty new OEM Shuguang 6N2 (which in my opinion much better sound than the Russian - sound too mellow/ blurry and limited frequency both ends). and a pair of NOS GE 5670/6N3. It has been welly used for about 2 years and bench tested with no problem or whatsoever. I would rate the cosmetic for 7/10 due that it is a welly used amp.

I would recommend speakers north of 91 db.

Might consider trading high eff speakers such as horns and lowthers.
