NEW PRICE! REDUCED TO $2000 from $2400 (ORIGINAL NEW PRICE $4685)
Totally tricked out VPI HW 19 MK IV. Loaded with Extras!
New motor and pulley new belt new dust cover and new Stainless Delrin Clamp. A $500 upgrade. I have the original invoice for the new owner plus the old parts as proof of replacement. This is the glossy black model a $200 option. The original feet have been replaced with all black aluminum isolation cones. I found a set of nice table protectors for the cones which are included. The all black look is visually stunning to match the incredible acoustic properties of this turntable.
This is the model with the 20+ lb. platter that out performs most turntables including VPI at 4 times its price. (Do not confuse this one with any VPI TT with the acrylic platter. They are inferior. Do your research and you will know.) VPI sells the extra heavy platters for $1000 as an option. The springs were replaced with Polylam disks. This upgrade takes the TT to the next level. The springs are still included with the TT in case you prefer the sound of a spring suspended TT.
The SAMA (Stand Alone Motor Assembly) is the prefered SOLID steel design. It weights at least 15 lbs. It is freakishly heavy just like the platter. Even the plinth will stun you with its weight.
Tonearm is a Sumiko Premiere FT-3 with VTA adjustment and dial up anti-skating. In perfect operational condition and a very good tonearm. Very high quality 5-pin connector cable is included with the Premiere PIB-1 interface box. Arm lift has a nice and slow drop to it. These were very good arms with built in silicone damping reservoirs. Extra dampimg O rings have been installed on base and counter weight.
The Cartridge is a Van Den Hul MC 10 is excellent condition with 800-1000 hours on it. It is designed for 3000 hours so there are many years of use left. The cartridge comes with the original box and specs signed by A. J. Van Den Hul himself. This cartridge can also be sent back to VDH for a new stylus when the time comes.

LOCAL PICK UP PREFERRED. I can ship if needed but it will cost at least $100-200 due to the weight and size. I DO NOT have the original packaging.
NOTE: The specs you see in the pictures are dust picked up by the camera and flash. They are invisible when viewing in person.
