Description

I purchased this NOS cartridge from Japan a year or so ago and it really was brand new. The "S" model dates back to the early 70's and incorporates a Shibata stylus. It is more compliant than the regular 103 and 103R and therefore does not have the arm matching difficulties associated with those models. Having owned a few 103's over the years, I can honestly say that while keeping all of the attributes of the standard 103, the "S" model tracks better, is smoother, more extended at the frequency extremes and has superior imaging. I have approximately 100 hours on this model and it is in perfect condition...no issues at all!
