Available for sale is a NAD 5000 Monitor Series Compact Disc Player. The Monitor series components were part of NAD's previous top of the line and premium components. They were built like tanks as compared to current offerings.

This item was used as a standby / reference player and was HARDLY ever used. It is in like NEW shape.

The 5000 was used by several audio magazines as a reference player and its sound is very well respected still, even today.

The analogue and digital sections use independent power supplies; coupled with its digital output, many audiophiles still use the 5000 as a CD transport.
