Description

This amp was made by Frank Van Alstine who originally made his name modifying other peoples products. Amp is rated at 225 wpc (8 ohms). It is in good condition and works perfectly. See the link above for a review.

From the Manual: "The amp utilizes an electronically isolated heavy duty triac to facilitate power switching. This eliminates mechanical contacts that can arc pop and burn out. As a direct consequence of triac controlled switching VA amplifiers can be turned on in two ways by the front panel switch for independent operation or remotely via an auxiliary remote line cord into a remote switched AC outlet such as those found on some preamplifiers. This lightweight cord controls only the triac gate so that convenience is achieved without the expense of excessive current draw from the switched outlet.
