The audio rack is one of the most looked at, and yet most overlooked aspect of a trough high-end audio system. In fact, it can be argued, that this is perhaps the most vitally critical link in a top-notch audio system. A good rack will spotlight the sonic characteristics of your system and should be considered as a major component in itself.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of “junk” being manufactured and sold as high-end audio racks. These are primarily made of steel (box or round) tubing to which you may add (most don’t) sand or led shot so as to reduce resonance (this procedure is hit or miss at best) and then of coarse, there are those shelves!!! However, at the end of all that, what you end up with is grunge being added to the music, manifesting itself as background noise. Though not very practical in the real world, you would get much better sound by simply setting your components on a wooden floor and forgetting about those steel racks altogether.

The F 2 – Titanium Audio Rack.
At this point in time, this is by far the “very best” high-end audio rack. It is designed, engineered and manufactured with one purpose; to be a SUPER audio component, true to the music. It is designed to remove and prevent vibrations from interacting among the audio components. By doing so, you end up with musical clarity, a blacker background with a lot more inner details in the mid and upper. And then there is the base; lets say, you won’t believe… tight, controlled and most of all, in balance with the music.
The choice of materials looked at one aspect only; what would be the very best materials so as to create a SUPER high-end audio rack. Like Ferarri motors, Hasselblad cameras and Rolex watches, you have to start with the very best of materials. In this case, solid
Titanium rod was selected for the metal work and 1” thick acrylic for the shelves. Both of these materials are not inexpensive.
The design looked at what a SUPER audio rack should do. Foremost, be true to the sonic characteristics of the equipment it houses and thus maximizing their sonic signature. A beneficial by-product of this; it allows you to assess the trough pedigree of the components it houses. Lots of money is wasted on equipment changes in pursuit of that “certain sound” which is never quite achieved. A thousand dollar per box system, placed on a very good rack, will outperform a three thousand dollar per box system on a poor rack. At the end, a system is only as good as its weakest link.

Titanium parts are precision milled as well as the acrylic shelves for close tolerances, which creates a highly refine FIT & FINISH.
Shelves are decoupled which allows for GREATER MUSICAL CLARITY.
Shelves are fully adjustable allowing for EQUIPMENT LEVELING.
A five shelf rack has: 64 pieces Titanium parts CNC precision milled
Material choice:
Both the titanium and acrylic (despite their high cost and difficulty of milling titanium) was chosen simply because of their EXCELLENT SONIC CHARACTERISTICS.
