One of the last well regarded separate FM tuners. Here is what one of the knowledgeable tech from Audiokarma has to say about it:

"There is one Denon tuner worth special mention, the TU 1500 RDS. Common broadcaster favorite and excellent performance for the money."

Being much more recent it has the advantage over vintage tuners of not having all of the problems associated with ageing components and need for alignment. It also has several features not found on earlier tuners such as the RDS data display and extensive alphanumeric programming possibilities. What is particularly nice about the 1500 is it is one of the few digitals with an analog style tuning knob, a very desirable feature.

This one is in great shape, extremely clean. Value wise, this is what FM Tunerifo had to say:

"The TU-1500RD usually sells for $110-160 on eBay, but as low as $75-90 and up to $200 or more are not uncommon. The record low is $42 in 9/09 for one with a remote."

Given an identical one just sold for $140 in BC a few months ago I am probably below fair market value on this one:
