Sonneteer Alabaster integrated amplifier. Latest version with mm phono input (see photo). Double-boxed with original box and packing materials. Includes manual and a basic power cord. There is no remote - they can't add this feature without harming the sonics of the amp, according to an interview I read along the way. Condition is like-new.

This is my 2nd one of these, and it probably won't be the last. Check the Tone Audio review for a professional take on the sound - they nail the strengths of the amp. If you need a remote or well known brand name, this is not the amp for you. If you have tried the usual suspects (Rega, Naim, Arcam, etc.) you might be interested in checking out this high-value integrated. Simply put, it makes music.

If you have normal speaker sensitivity, this amp will be fairly quiet - it can't be heard at all when music is playing or there is ambient noise in the house. If you try to hook it up to something like Klipsch La Scalas, you will hear a little self-noise. If you need an amp where you can put your ear against the driver and not hear any noise, this amplifier is not for you. On a pair of 91db/watt sens. speakers, I can hear a little self-noise (from 7' away) when the house is dead silent. I have an excellent selling reputation, and I want to be very clear about what you are getting. Both of the Alabasters I have owned had the exact same sound and low-level noise, and I find it acceptable (& I'm someone who is bothered by too much hum or hiss in equipment). I will finish by saying that I had two Rogue Audio Sphinx amplifiers that easily had two times the level of self-noise as this amplifier (considered acceptable by the Rogue staff).

See my feedback on Audiogon under "leahy" - 100% positive feedback on over 135 transactions.

I will soon be listing quite a bit of awesome gear in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for some great deals on excellent gear in like-new condition.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding compatibility, sound, etc.

Thanks for taking a look at the ad.
