Nice! 1960’s Vintage ALTEC-LANSING Stereo 832A CORONA CORNER SPEAKERS 802D 803A

BUYER'S NOTE: I am very open to realistic offers on these speakers. I will only sell these to an honest buyer. I am representing these very honestly (please review my feedback) and am only interested in selling them to those with completely honest intentions. Scammers please do not bother contacting me. If you make an acceptable offer, I'll email you my phone number so that we can directly discuss the speakers/offer/shipping arrangements in detail before we finalize any transaction.

SHIPPING NOTE: These will be VERY EXPENSIVE to ship, so only bidders who have contacted me in advance regarding shipping will be allowed to bid. For example, secure packing, shipping, and insurance will cost $1165 to Los Angeles. Please write me asap for an exact shipping quote to your location. Do not use Ebay's automatic check-out. Local pick up in Omaha, Nebraska is free. Any other shipping arrangements will be have to be agreed upon by me. I will not ship these by Greyhound.

NOTE ABOUT RETURNS/GUARANTEE: These speakers are fully-functional, but you should keep in mind that with vintage equipment with vintage parts, you may need to have them serviced by your preferred technician before use. Although these have been tested and sound great, because of the high cost of shipping, returns will not be accepted on these speakers—sold “AS IS” only. CASH OR POSTAL MONEY ORDER ONLY.

DIMENSIONS: 39” x 37 ½” wide x 24 ½” deep.

DESCRIPTION: Excellent sounding 1960’s vintage Altec-Lansing 832A Corona corner cabinet stereo speakers.

Recently purchased directly from an estate-- one owner adult owned, always driven by vintage tube Altec-Lansing equipment. These were kept in the living room of a clean, dry home from the time they were new.

System impedance - 16 Ohms. Power rating - 30-50 Watts, Sensitivity - 97 db SPL, Crossover frequency - 800 Hz

All original—each speaker cabinet contains an 802D woofer, an 803A horn, and an adjustable N-800-E crossover network.

Great looking mid-century modern design.

CONDITION: All the speakers were individually tested with an ohm meter. The woofers read out at 11 and 12 ohms. The horns read out at 3.5 and 4.5 ohms. I also hooked up the ohm meter to the inputs and the readings were 12 and 12.5 ohms. Photos showing the ohm meter readings are available if you request.

I tested these, and one speaker seems to produce very slightly less volume or at least is very slightly less bright sounding. Otherwise, these sound as good as they look. No buzzing or distortion. Clean sound from both woofers and both horns. The cabinets are in excellent original condition. Some extremely minor scratches and marks but nothing at all significant. One very small chip to the edge of top of one speaker (see 3rd photo grouping).
