PRICE REDUCED to $5850
VPI-TNT HRX table with JMW 12.6 tonearm, Rim Drive, Periphery Ring Clamp, Stainless Steel Center Weight, 30 lb. SuperPlatter. I have converted the table to a suspension-less set-up, through use of brass footers custom-made by Edensound and the original feet. The brass footers are screwed to the main chassis and rest on tungsten steel balls inside the original footer, allowing for support, height adjustment and excellent sound. The Walker Audio Precision speed controller, a more expensive and sonically better speed controller, is included in place of the original SDS. Used only in non-smoking room. Original boxes and manual, original owner.
Condition: there are micro-scratches in the acrylic surface of the chassis near the tonearm due to normal wear-and-tear. Otherwise, there are no major scratches or flaws.
Includes: original written instructions, azimuth balancing rod, tonearm set-up device
Extras included at no extra charge: Wally tractor tonearm setup devices and instructions including for anti-skating device, KAB speedstrobe (minus batteries), Shure VTF scale, extra belts for rim drive.
Note: the Wally tractor is a problematic device which hasn’t been used much, but voluminous instructions are included—and it can work.
