It was marketing genius, I think, to come up with the Time Window moniker. So evocative, even compelling. To be able to peer through the fog of time with crystal clarity, as through a window, to see the past not in the sepia tones of nostalgia or the herky-jerky motion of a primitive motion picture camera, but to view it unfolding as if the event is happening in your own back yard, in a dimension you hold in your hand, smell and see in the here-and-now, experience with senses firing on all cylinders--occupandi temporis! That is the stuff of seers and saints. That is the stuff of Time Windows.

It's not magic or hocus-pocus that make these sound as good as they do. At the end of the day, it's all about caps and coils, drivers and dimensions, ohms and henrys: these are the guts and glory of good sound. Get it right, and you get music made in heaven. Get it wrong, and you get a pitchfork in the butt: The devil's in the details. In this case, DCM got it right. I'm not going to blather on about enclosure resonance or impedance curves or transient response; these are the vocabulary of critics far beyond my pay grade. What I will say is, "Holy cow! These sound great!"

And they look marvelous, too. Not a mark on top that Nature didn't put there. The foam wrap-around grille is new (thanks, Foam Factory in Macomb!). All else is stock and original, from top to bottom, from drivers to damping. It's hard to imagine you'll find a finer matched pair of these. Of course the flim-flammery of my words won't compel you to buy these; you're too smart for that! I just want you to see them and hear them: let your eyes and ears convince you.

Explore your music through these Time Windows. The view is breath-taking.

We're in Windsor. Local pick up, please.
