FOR COLLECTORS - RARE AND HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE VINTAGE CLASSIC DUAL circa 1960

VERY GOOD CONDITION COSMETICALLY Not Working Now was working before storage so selling for parts or repair

The parts alone are very rare & hard to acquire

The 1004 was DUAL's first original AUTOMATIC STEREO turntable and the missing link in the evolution of the famous DUAL lineage of turntables. 16,33,45,78 spd. fully automatic. Wired for USA

There are 2 Unique features in it's design exclusive to the 1004: 1) It uses 4 idler wheels- one for each speed 2) A record "edge sensing" mechanism on the tone arm. It's amazing to watch it in action as it "searches" for the beginning of the recording. But foremost is the advanced design.

Also Included is the unique "round" manual in German (shown on the platter -see photo) ,wood base and cartridge which has two needles (switchable for 78's)

All speeds controls was working smooth and functional before place in storage

Was working before storage { 35 YEARS+ } but not working now.

I will pack very well for shipping but always recommend pick up
