Offered for sale is a selection of brand new/sealed/unused metal cassette tapes from TDK and Sony. Metal (type IV) cassette tapes can withstand hot recording levels, while maintaining great treble and sub-bass response, plus they are becoming rarer and rarer each day! Prices for lots as described below.

Available for pick up in downtown Toronto anytime, or I can ship them in a well-packed shipping box through Canada Post, just ask for a quote; I will weigh the package, and provide you an accurate price. I will send the package with tracking.

TDK MA 90 (1988) - 5 for $120. All seals intact, minor shelf wear. Sticker residue on the back of each tape, as pictured.

TDK MA 90 (1991) - 3 for $55. Minor shelf wear, very clean.

Sony Metal-S 60 (1989) - SOLD. These are the very rare double-layer Metal-S variety that has a lower noise floor than other metals. Metal-S 'B' version, was superseded by Metal Select in North America the following year. Minor shelf wear, all seals are intact, but one seal is turned up a bit at the corner as pictured.

Sony Metal SR 100 (1990) - 6 for $100. Sony Metal SR 'B' version. Very clean condition, minor shelf wear, these are the version without screws, but has a very rigid, azimuth stable shell, that I personally prefer.

Sony Metal SR 90 (1992) - 7 for $105. To me, these are the last great year for Metal SR, this version features a screwed shell as Sony reverted to the previous Metal ES/Metal Select shell. Tapes have some shelf wear and sticker residue as they were collected over a period of time. One of the tapes is not sealed completely as the glue has loosened over time, and there is a tear, as pictured.
