Realistic System 7, the original high quality mini-system with separates specs and performance. STA-7 receiver with a true 10WPC RMS at 8 ohms across the full 20Hz to 20KHz range at no more than 0.5% THD, MM phono input, Aux input, Tape monitor loop and speaker switching for 2 pairs of speakers. Switchable mini-speaker equalization. 15Hz to 30KHz frequency response. Excellent FM reception and external interference rejection. All metal slim casing no higher than a credit card, so it can go pretty much everywhere. Ideal as a compact office, bedroom or kitchen system. Comes with 2 Minimus 7 die cast black aluminum speakers. Note that 1 of the speakers is missing the Realistic logo on the grille.

This surprising little receiver can easily drive 4 ohm speakers all day; in fact it is currently powering my 5 ohm nominal (which dip down to 1.6 ohm) Martin Logan Source electrostatic speakers all day to more than respectable sound levels without audible distortion or overheating. I fact, this very unit once got used for college beer party duty mid evening driving one of 2 paisr of Altec A-7 horn loaded cabinets in the college cafeteria after the big Altec SS amp blew and no one ever noticed! They sure don't build them like this anymore.

Price is negotiable for local pickup only. Shipping and/or PayPal fees are extra.

I am in the process of being moved into a small assisted living facility where there is no room for anything beyond a bedroom and a place to sit, so my 2 sound systems have to go within the next couple of months.

Being permanently disabled (wheelchair bound and partially paralyzed on my left side) requires me to have outside assistance for packing and shipping, so do not expect to have responses or shipping done within the same day a transaction actually happens. This means that local pickup is my preferred option, but if shipping is required, I can arrange it but do expect short delays. Also, sorry for any blurry pictures; they are about as clear and focused as I can take them on my own.

As for payment terms, cash on pickup or shipment is preferred. Cheques, bank drafts and/or other payment methods are subject to bank clearance delays. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to PayPal (for some silly reason, banks refuse to renew credit cards for people who no longer have a steady income due to being permanently disabled), so if that is your payment preference, I have to make arrangements with my son to use his PayPal account.

PayPal fees of 3% and shipping costs are extra at the buyers expense, no exceptions. Sorry, no EMT
