Ultra-thin. Ultra-flexible. Uber-good!
Unrivaled silver plated OFC copper interconnects at an unrivaled price.
These are terrific sounding, ultra-thin, flexible, and lightweight interconnects. They are silver plated oxygen free copper with a Teflon dielectric. They are not shielded; and don't need to be. I use only silver solder to terminate the excellent quality German-designed RCA's.
Building interconnects is somewhat of an art and is fun for me. It's not a business. It's a hobby, and doing things right is important to me. MY interconnects are the result of 30+ years of experimentation, trial-and-error, and listening.
Here are some things I've learned:
* Einstein was right: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler."
*Mesh coverings and cute logos on heat shrinks are just eye-candy and added expense. They add nothing to the sonic quality.
*Shielding adds thickness, and I've found it to rob the purity of the signal. (I have yet to get a complaint about RF interference.)
*The dielectric - what we mere mortals call "insulation" - is important.
*The gauge of wire used is important - almost as important as the type of wire - as is the way the wire is treated. You don't want too heavy of a wire, or too light.
Only with fastidious matching and handling of materials can a spacious, fast, detailed, and sonically cogent musical image be obtained.
I use these in my own system. And many of you fellows have re-ordered after trying the first pair. That should tell you something.
$49 for a one meter pair. I will ship for free. Please make a "friends/family" gift payment via paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org and send me a separate e-mail with your name and shipping address please.
(Note there is an underscore between my initials and last name.)
Thanks for looking. I'm sure you will enjoy these!
