Summary:

STARS � digital re-sampling software from Anagram combined with an excellent, tubed, output stage.

The AA Prestige DAC can be designed into 3 parts: (Transport/laser mechanism), DAC (digital to analog converter), and output stage. Audio Aero uses reference components & the revolutionary STARS � digital re-sampling software from Anagram in the DAC section, and one of the, if not the, best analog output stage (tubed) that any digital player has ever had. These three things, taken together, make the Prestige DAC unique, an evolutionary leap in technology, a revolutionary leap in sound.

As a stand alone DAC, the Anagram upsampler/converter module is used, therefore the DSD data is converted into PCM.

The player also has an Analog pre-amp on board complete with 3 analog inputs ( 2 RCA & 1 XLR) but the unit can also accept external digital sources. Volume control is analog.
