I have for sale what should be anyones last preamp. This is a tube linestage with RCA ins and outs as well as an XLR in and out. Also has a dedicated ground anchor, and metal remote for volume only. This unit is equiped with theatre bye-pass, and upgrade gold pin vintage Valvos tubes as well.

The performance of this preamp is nothing less than reference. Amazing soundstage, detail, blackness, drums/bass with exquisite highs and killer vocals. I have had many preamps over the years, including: Classe DR5L, Levinson 380s, Nagra PLL, Joule LA300ME, Atmasphere MP1 reference, MBL6010D and Vitus SL101. The Wavestream easily runs with the MBL and Vitus. I had the MBL and Wavestream at the same time and kept the Wavestream, sold the MBL. I currently have the Vitus and Wavestream, so I am able to directly compare the two preamps.

Wavestream was designed and built by Scott Franklin of Wavestream V8 Mono amp fame. This particular one was purchased 5 months ago from the dealer..........I am the original owner. I used it for 3 months at which time I "won" a $30K Vitus preamp with a lowball offer on an auction. The Vitus needed work and was returned to the Manufacture in Denmark, at considerable cost. At that time he updated and upgraded the Vitus. When comparing the two at this time, they are very very similar..........the only reason I am keeping the Vitus is because it matches my Vitus mono amps, but in all honestly it is no "better" than the Wavestream.

Wavestream are not mass produced and do not come up often. The price for a new one will be $10500 plus, for the custom tubes. Even at new cost the unit is a great deal, however I have it listed at a very attractive price considering the value and my cost, and the cost of a new one. Good luck and thanks for looking...........please email for pics.

Includes:

Original shipping box, manual, metal remote, upgraded Vintage Valvos gold pin tubes.
