Here's a Thorens TD124 in very nice condition, except that the motor needs to be rebuilt. Cosmetically, the 124 is very nice, with excellent paint. Functionally, everything except the motor is in excellent condition. The spindle moves freely without play in the main bearing and takes a long while to spin down. The platter brake works fine, and the speed change mechanism works easily and without problems. The main platter and upper platter are in great condition and the mat is in excellent condition and compliant. The rubber suspension mushrooms are there, as is an extra belt. There is no arm board. As for the motor, when powered it rotates slowly and doesn't come fully up to speed. When you rotate it manually the motor feels gummy like it has a thick oil or grease inside. There's a Thorens motor rebuild service on ebay that will disassemble, clean, and rebuild a TD-124 motor for $38.00 plus shipping.

I did open to look at it and it it is in good shape, there is a slight smudge in one edge of the paint and spare belt seems a bit dried out as well

Also included is a custom armboard from Audio Classique..10mm thick, high gloss black acrylic,,fits sme 3009 (also bought on ebay-you can see there ads there..never even opened the package
