Description: The VR-970's has it's own 12 " dual duty driver in addition to the built-in 10 " powered woofer. When the source material does not contain a LFE track, the 12 " acts as a passive radiator. With an LFE track, the 12 " driver serves as a true subwoofer.
I have owned these since New. Great speakers that have served me well over the years.

The 7 inch tall VR 920 is a three-way design featuring Boston Acoustics 3 1/2-inch midrange driver that is vertically aligned with the VR tweeter. Two active 5 1/4 by 7 1/2-inch woofers provide bass down to 55Hz and allow a reduction in height without compromising performance.
Owned since new.Does what a center channel should amazingly clear voices.
All speakers are in great shape no rips or tears in socks and well taken care of.Smoke free house.
