Here is an older setup that is seldom seen on the market. The Michell Syncro turntable is a late 80’s J.A. Michell design and was purchased in the early 90’s. The Alphason HR-100S tonearm was chosen over the stock tonearm at the time and comes with an older Grado 8M cartridge.

The Syncro has a spring suspension and all parts are still available if needed as well as upgrades. The dustcover does have some scratches from age and use, and the top is marked where the tonearm touches it. The table is in excellent condition but does have some light wear from age … could use a good cleaning. The on/off button on the motor does stick from time to time and will need to be addressed but there is a switch on the power cord coming from the motor that can be used if preferred.

The Alphason HR-100S is a well respected tonearm and is in excellent condition. The loop on the ant-skate weight could use some adjustment but that is minor. This is 2nd from the top of the Alphason line and rarely seen on the used market.

Also comes with the record clamp in the pic and an older “Grado 8M” mm cartridge plus an extra armboard cut for the stock tonearm which was a Grace I'm told. Other armboards are still available.

I prefer to sell as a package but will sell separately if there is no interest in the package. Local sale preferred in Ottawa but I will meet buyers mid-way from Toronto and Montreal area.
