This unit is no longer available new. Its kind of unique in that it is geared for low output moving coils as low as .15mv. The newer Creek product is a combo MM/MC but the MC mode is only good for MC's with .5mv and up. The SE version is a better quality/performance version of the OBH-9,better internal components and better power supply. The gain on this is fixed at 65db with a fixed setting of 100ohm. I used it with a Denon 103R and the output level matched my Cambridge 840 CD player.
