** This Ad is Marked as OFF by seller and cannot be responded to. ** he Fon Lo Thingee is the latest installment in Blue Circle’s line of budget priced high- end audio products. Gilbert Yeung, the design genius behind Blue Circle, wanted to deliver maximum sound for a minimum cost. What is the one thing that does not contribute to sound, cosmetics. The Thingee line of products was born. The Fon Lo Thingee is an upgradeable phonostage in a piece of drain pipe sitting in a bath of silicone. Why PCB pipe and silicone? The answer is quite simple; the PCB pipe provides a solid cheap housing and the silicone provides a medium almost impervious to vibration. The Fon Lo Thingee shares the pedigree of the highly praised Blue Circle 703 and BC 707 phono stages. It utilizes the input stage of the more than 7000 dollar BC 703 and the RIAA equalization of the 2600 dollar BC 707. These two components form an integral part of the Fon Lo Thingee’s construction. The Fon Lo Thingee at the input end has extra jacks for loading plugs, and a little blue dip switch to adjust gain setting for either moving coil or moving magnet cartridges. There is a wing nut for grounding the turntable. On the out put end you will find a quality XLR jack for the DC power input. The Fon Lo Thingee with the standard power pack is only 395. The Fon Lo Thingee with the standard power pack and the SP Capacitor pack is 846. The SP Capacitor pack adds more than 264000uF of capacitance to the standard power pack. The Fon Lo Thingee with the Biggie Pipe power supply has 88,000uF of capacitance and sells for a mere 620 dollars. The full Monty Fon Lo Thingee with Biggie Pipe power supply and SP Capacitor pack sells for 1072 dollars. Contact us at Harmonia to audition this ugly little wonder. We believe that it is sonically superior to phono stages costing twice as much. But don’t take our word for it. The truth is in the listening. Deal with an authorized Blue Circle dealer and deal with confidence.
