VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!! For sale; the very desirable top model JBL 250ti speaker. It is very rare to find a pair of these on the used market. The pair I have are the Limited Edition(Piano Black finish). This speaker features a 14 inch woofer with 20 pound magnet and an 8 inch mid bass a 5 inch midrange and the famous titanium tweeter.

This jbl designed high end audiophile speaker has the ability to play classical music or handle 400 watts of serious rock and roll. The drivers are time aligned on the baffle and they weight about 200 pounds each. The original version(Teak finish) of this speaker sold for about $7,500US. When this Limited Edition re-issue came out, it was selling for over $16,000US!

The condition of these speakers is very good. There are some small scratches that are barely noticeable(couldn't pick them up with my camera). The foam surround on the right woofer is starting to crack and should probably be treated to a re-foam(this does not affect the sound quality at any reasonable listening levels). This speaker is said to be the best speaker jbl ever made and is used by jbl executives and mark levinsons chairman as well. A measure of the high regard of this system within JBL is the fact that it is the speaker of choice for their senior staff members. For example, Garry Margolis and Drew Daniels could choose from virtually any system from JBL's inventory for their home systems during their tenure at JBL. They both chose the 250Ti. The ultimate vote of confidence is represented by the fact that this is the home speaker system used by the company's chairman, Dr. Sidney Harman.
